| These heavy, freestanding Rose Arches strongly
impress with a finesse of work last achieved during the fin de siècle.
Their slightly curved form brings to mind the elegance of gothic
arches. This style was extremely popular during the reign of Queen
Victoria. The most beautiful examples of that architecture may still
be found today in the southern English seaside resort of Brighton.
No surprise that these Rose Arches received an enthusiastic welcome
at the Chelsea Flower Show 2002 and that the Royal Horticultural
Society awarded the stand of Peter Beales Classic Roses, decorated
with these Roses Arches, a Gold Medal.
Structure made from 1.58'' / 4 cm steel tubing and 0.79'' / 2 cm
steel bands. Hot-dip galvanized and powder coated black. Two pinecone
finials cast in aluminium.
Due to the weight of the two Versailles Planters, this freestanding
Arch will not require fixing to the ground. . Both planters supplied
with a plastic drop-in/take-out liner.
Victorian Arch Brighton is also available without the two planters.
It will then be delivered with spikes for securing to the ground.
Sizes remain the same.
