Peter Beales has designed a spectacular circular Rose Garden at
this famous Tokyo Flower Show. Classic Garden Elements provides
the necessary Climbing Structures
Classic Garden Elements created “The Chelsea Turret”,
an almost six metres tall Rose Folly for this years Peter Beales’
stand.

Many
of our structures will be or are already incorporated at the
new Gardens of the Rose of the Royal National Rose Society
in St. Albans near London. Indeed its one of the best places
to see our structures "in situ", planted with roses
in what will for sure become a stunningly beautiful Rosarium
to rival Bagatelle
and the Roseraie at L'Hay-les-Roses.
The new Gardens
of the Rose in St Albans, run by the Royal National Rose
Society had been completely redeveloped and are now open to
the public.
The Royal National Rose Society had appointed leading garden
designer and landscape architect Michael
Balston to draw up the scheme for the main display area
of the garden. The intention is to re-build the Society’s
garden so that it becomes the premier rose garden in Britain. |
Garden highlights include:
- A rose collection, showing the history of the rose ·
Roses in a garden setting showing different styles of planting
- A series of small model gardens to give inspiration for
growing roses in small spaces
- The newly replanted Queen Mother garden
- A 70 metres long elliptically shaped Central Pergola donated
by Classic Garden Elements
- New cultivar trials to provide an educational experience
as well as being a pleasure to the eye when in full flower
- A much longer season of interest making extensive use
of other plants which associate well with roses.
